To the Patriot Guard Riders

I've watched videos of what you all do and they often bring a tear to my eye showing such love and respect for our fallen heroes and their families in their darkest hour.

In our eyes nothing is more awe inspiring than seeing a mile long column of bikes speckled with old glory escorting one of America's heroes to their final resting place.

We appreciate what you do and the class and honor with which you do it. Thank you for showing our military men and women the respect they deserve.

BMR 2016 Tucker County WV

Every year bikers descend on Tucker County WV for a little hillbilly fun in the country provided by "Panhead" Frank Dotson & Cycle Source Magazine.

I speak of course of the Big Mountain Run a kick ass get together pitting bikers against each other in some extremely fun yet not so usual ways.

Welcome to Dixie Biker

Hello and welcome to the blog for DixieBiker.com your home for everything biker related in the state of West Virginia and beyond.

I'm Dave I'm 33 years old and the new owner of Dixie Biker and while I don't yet own a bike I do have a growing interest in them.

I'm still working on the website even though a basic layout is up at the moment our forums and page design will soon be rebuilt to be more user friendly and more functional linking to every biker related event in WV.

I have three boys, a wife, and currently run two brick and mortar businesses in Parsons WV as well as several online pages, groups, sites, and blogs.

I have family who are involved in chopping and building custom bikes, friends who run bike rallies, other friends who do air brushing and design work.

I hope to be able to feature some of my friends work on this blog as well as the DixieBiker.com main site.

I'm a redneck at heart, a WV native, and love the South each year I spend a good deal of time in Myrtle Beach usually around bike week.

I'm a Conservative who loves guns, guitars, and enjoying the freedom that the brave men and women in our armed forces fought and died to afford me.
